Last Call for The British Poker Awards

Last Call for The British Poker Awards

Wednesday, 31 December 2014

Voting for the 2014 edition of The British Poker Awards ends at midnight tonight so if you haven't yet made your selections you'd better get a move on.

Poker lovers can choose their favourite performers in more than a dozen categories from both the live and online game.

There's also the chance to recognise the unsung heroes that have made big contributions to the growth and success of the British game. Railbirds will also have the opportunity to select their most memorable hand of 2014.

Bluff Europe has picked the brains of an expert panel to draw up the shortlists. Judges include PokerNews' Matthew Pitt, PokerStrategy's Barry Carter, RankingHero's Nicolas Levi, CalvinAyre.com's Lee Davy, Late Night Poker creator Nic Szeremeta and 'Voice of Poker' Jesse May.

The ceremony itself will take place at the Hippodrome Casino in London on Monday 23 February 2015.

You could be rubbing shoulders with the poker glitterati as we've got five pairs of tickets to give away to voters. Simply head to TheBritishPokerAwards.com and make your selections and you'll be entered into the prize draw.

"After the overwhelming success of the 2013 awards, we can't wait to once again recognise the top talents in British poker," said Michael Caselli, editor-in-chief of Bluff Europe.

"We have seen some fantastic performances from British players in 2014, as they have shown they can mix it with the world's best both live and online."

PokerStars Team Online player Alex Millar picked up the top gong at last year's star-studded awards. Millar, better known to online railbirds as Kanu7, was named Player of the Year. Who will win this year? Get voting and have your say.
