We all love a good TV documentary, don’t we? We love them even more if they are about poker though, which makes the news that the €250,000 guaranteed Irish Poker Festival in Killarney, Ireland will be the subject for a new documentary to be broadcast on Irish TV station TG4.

Ladbrokes sponsored pro Roy 'The Boy' Brindley said, "Terrestrial television coverage for this event is excellent news, it is just one more reason hoards of poker players will descend on one of Ireland's most beautiful regions in October. This will be a blend of fun and, with huge money plus European ranking points on offer, some very serious poker playing."

The Irish Poker Festival is set to attract in excess of 600 players to Killarney. The Festival will also host a €300 no-limit hold'em freezeout supporting event on Saturday October 4 and a €170 no-limit freezeout game on Sunday October 5.

Full details of the festival can be found at www.ladbrokespoker.com/killarneyfestival with information on how you could satellite your way to the tournament. Who knows, it might be the start of a budding career in television, too.
