Lacey Jones leaves Absolute Poker

Friday, 28 May 2010

In the second case of a professional leaving a website shortly before the World Series of Poker, Lacey Jones has left Absolute Poker after four days of silence on Twitter.

The model slash announcer slash player gave little to no reason as to her decision to leave according to various sources. Her Twitter post, coming after four days of uncharacteristic silence, reads: “Today is a new chapter of my life and I’ve never been more excited! Get ready for some BIG things everyone!”

According to Poker News Daily, CEREUS described the split as “amicable” and stated that they “wish Lacey only the best in her future endeavours and know that she will be successful in whatever she chooses.”

Jones was part of a women-heavy sponsored roster at Absolute Poker alongside EPT winner Liv Boeree and she of WSOP infamy Tiffany Michelle. She was named spokesperson for the Canadian Poker Tour earlier this year.
