Season 5 of the Latin American Poker Tour in Chile is the biggest yet with a field of 651 players beating the 2011 field by 30. Day 1b attracted 367 players combined with a 284-strong turnout for Day 1a.

This leaves us with a prize pool of over $650k and the winner is set to take home almost $130k. Last year, Brazilian player Murilo Thiago Souza Figueredo defeated a field of 621 to win a first prize of $146k.

All players who make the final table of this event will receive at least $10,690 but with 190 surviving players there’s still a long way to go until then.
