Kyle Cartwright leads WSOP Circuit St. Louis final table

Kyle Cartwright leads WSOP Circuit St. Louis final table

Tuesday, 12 April 2011

Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit stop in Harrah’s St. Louis was Kyle Cartwright’s as the US pro managed to do most of the work to get us to a final table, arriving at the final nine with nearly a third of the chips.

His 2.875m stack puts him well ahead of second place Steve Goff on 1.27m and with blinds at 15k/30k Cartwright has one hell of a lot of room to manoeuvre when we return tonight to play down to a winner and a $142,290 first prize. Unfortunately for the railbirds neither Greg Raymer nor Dennis Phillips survived Day 2, the latter eliminated in a set-over-set just before the bubble burst.

Each of the nine players that survived 440 eliminations are guaranteed $13,453 for their efforts thus far but the first prize of six figures, a WSOP-C ring and a spot in the National Championship is all that they are looking for.

The final table chip counts are as follows:
1.Kyle Cartwright 2.875m
2.Steve Goff 1.27m
3.Asheesh Boyapati 1.138m
4.Troy Weber 1.006m
5.Ron Segni 983k
6.Phil Stelzer 637k
7.Mitch Franks 460k
8.Chris Viox 346k
