Daniel Negreanu and FullContactPoker.com (FCP) have announced the launch of Negreanu's Protégé 2, a contest where one lucky member of the FCP community will win the chance to become a poker star in their own right.
The winner of Negreanu's Protégé 2 will receive four $10,000 buy-ins into major poker tournaments, one-on-one instruction from the world's most successful poker tournament player, and the chance to experience the Vegas-style VIP life at the most exclusive poker events.
But the battle to victory will be tough, as the ten finalists, and their guests, will be flown to the Bahamas to duke it out at the Atlantis, Paradise Island on December 9 at a live event.
'The protégé contest is one of the most exciting things happening in poker today,” says Negreanu himself. “Here's the chance to go all in like never before!'
Last year’s winning protégé, Brian Fidler, won over $200,000 after only six weeks, with a second place finish at the WSOP circuit event in Lake Tahoe, his second $10k buy-in.
“Brian has made me feel like a proud papa and I can't wait to see what the next round of protege contestants bring,” added Negreanu. “Amateurs and fans have a chance to get involved in the serious poker action and make some real money in the big leagues.'
