London’s Loose Cannon club was the venue for PKR Live II over the weekend. 150 qualifiers from the 3D poker room competed for a trio of titles with a total of $105,000 in prize money on offer.

Karl ‘discomonkey’ Fenton won the $75,000 Main Event, taking the $20,000 first prize. Fenton, who collected a further $1,650 after finishing third in Friday’s warm up said “It was definitely one of the best, most enjoyable and most successful weekends of my life.”

The event also marked the live tournament debut of the newly formed Team PKR Poker. The pros got off to an excellent start claiming 4 cashes over the 3 events including Ray O’Mahoney’s victory in the $15,000 Bounty Hunter event. It could have been even better for the pros with Andrew Teng just missing out on a final table appearance in the Main Event after having his pocket aces cracked.
