Sundays are always big events on the live tournament circuit as all the major sites – US and Euro alike – host a tournament extravaganza, crowned as always by the PokerStars Sunday Million $1.5m guaranteed.

This week, the notable achievements of Sunday are awarded to online whizzkid Jordan Young, who trampled all over Full Tilt Poker’s biggest Sunday offerings. Firstly, he took down the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl, beating out 2,584 other players to claim the lion’s share of the $517,000 prize pool with a score of $104,951 – amazingly, this ended up being his second largest cash of the night.


Just hours later, Young stood alone at the head of the decimated field of the $750,000 guaranteed event having won that, too, and earning himself over $130,000 for his efforts. In other news, Aqua44 beat out more than 8,000 players to take down the PokerStars Sunday Million for just shy of a quarter-million dollars.


Furthermore, DoylesRoom pro and Brunson 10 member AJKHoosier proved his worth when he finished second in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up, chopping the top prizes with eventual winner Buffet1986 and walking away with $110,000.
