The latest name to join the illustrious band of Team PokerStars professionals is Norway’s Johnny Lodden.

The 23-year-old from Jorpeland initially made his name in online cash games, quickly working his way up from $1/$2 stakes to nosebleed levels. He’s now a regular on the live circuit, cashing in 7 European Poker Tour events and enjoying a deep run in the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event. His 11th place finish earned him a £54,300 pay day.

He will be playing under the nickname "Johnny Lodden" on PokerStars and is expected to make his live debut as a PokerStars pro at next month’s Norwegian Poker Championship at Dawn Till Dusk in Nottingham.

Lodden joins a PokerStars roster which includes veterans Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein and Gavin Griffin as well as new signings Dario Minieri and Hevad Khan.
