Online poker room FullTiltPoker.com has announced that it has signed a sponsorship deal with poker professional Peter ‘Zupp’ Jepsen.
The Danish player now joins the likes of David Benyamine, Jeff Madsen and Carlos Mortensen as a ‘red pro’ but will not yet be a part of the prestigious Team Full Tilt.
'I've been playing a lot at FullTiltPoker.com and tried some of the biggest games,' said Jepsen. 'It's only natural that someone would notice that in one way or the other, especially considering that I've been doing well in live tournaments as well.'
Jepsen won the 2007 European Poker Tour (EPT) Warsaw in March and also has a third placed finish at the 2006 Caribbean Poker Classic on his resume. He has just made his first appearance as a FullTiltPoker.com player at the ongoing World Poker Tournament Spanish Championship in Barcelona.
'I'm very glad and really proud and I hope that I can bring home a couple of 'gold medals' to Denmark and to Full Tilt,' said Jepsen. 'With an EPT victory and a successful high stakes poker record, Peter will be a perfect addition to the Full Tilt family,' said Team FullTilt veteran Howard ‘The Professor’ Lederer.
