Jen-Yue Chiang wins Fox Main Event

The capital's tournament players were out in force at the Fox Poker Club over the weekend for the venue's May Main Event. A total of 146 runners were hand meaning that the £25,000 guarantee was smashed.

In the end it was Jen-Yue Chiang who took the lion's share of the £43,800 prize pool. The London-based American has made the final table in five previous Fox Main Events and made no mistake this time round, beating George Achillea heads up. The 36-year-old sealed the £10,160 first prize when his pocket jacks held up to beat his opponents short stacked king high shove.
