Janos Jeszek wins Betfair Poker Live! Dublin

There was plenty of tournament action on both sides of the Irish Sea over the weekend with David Wall winning the Genting Players title in Birmingham and Bobby O'Donnell taking the Irish Amateur Championship in Cork. In Dublin the main attraction was the opening stop of the new Betfair Poker Live Series which attracted a field of 73 runners who each paid the $600+$50 buy-in.

In the end it was Janos Jeszek who emerged victorious, taking home a first prize of €9,370. Jeszek sealed the biggest win of his poker career to date, beating Adam Treanor heads up, when his KQ held up against Treanor's Q9 on a 7-10-J-Q board. The river was a blank 6 giving Jeszek the title. Treanor pocketed €5,590 for his second place finish.
