Jake Cody wins UKIPT High Roller

Jake Cody has celebrated being named the Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year at the European Poker Awards by bagging yet another tournament title.

The former Bluff Europe cover star overcame an 80-runner field in the £1,500 High Roller event at the recent UKIPT festival at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham. Cody, a former psychology student, bagged £34,200 for the win after beating a final table that included Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott who finished in fifth place. The victory to Cody's career earnings to almost $1.8m.
