Jachtmann's Stolen Bracelet

Monday, 12 January 2015

WSOP bracelet winner Jan Peter Jachtmann got an unwelcome visit over the Xmas holidays.

Instead of delivering gifts, the raiders helped themselves to a five-figure sum in cash, computers and the German pro's 2012 PLO bracelet.

According to local police spokesman Sonja Kurz, the intruders broke into Jachtmann's house on the evening of Christmas Eve, gaining entry through a front window.

Jachtmann took to Facebook to explain his predicament, as well as to offer a reward for information relating to the burglary.

“I was pretty down 2-3 days , shocked and speechless ... But now I'm feeling better and I will now try to find all these criminal bastards, and / or at least recover my bracelet. First, I am putting up a reward of 20,000 euros , for instructions (and is completely confidential) leading to the perpetrators. Confidential notes only to the whereabouts of the bracelets (without the offender to know) will be generously rewarded.”

Jachtmann pocketed a first prize of $661,000 after topping a 293-runner field in the 2012 $10,000 WSOP PLO Championship event.
