Bobby’s Room at the Bellagio is named after Bobby Baldwin and, to this day, high stakes poker players do battle in insanely high-limit games there – anyone else remember Tom Dwan talking about $10k/$20k limit Triple Draw and million-dollar-buy-in, $2,000/$4,000 PLO?
The Aria Resort and Casino at the recently built CityCenter in Las Vegas is taking this idea but with an even more world-renowned poker player. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Ivey’s room – The Ivey Room.
The room opens on May 22 and to celebrate, the Aria are holding a $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament with a $100,000 bounty on the head of Phil Ivey. The winner of the tournament gets to play Ivey for $250,000 heads-up.
We’re not sure how that’s a reward, but...
