Isildur1 defeated! Antonius wins largest online pot and Townsend hits $1m stack

Tuesday, 17 November 2009

At the time of writing, Isildur1 is playing six tables against Patrik Antonius and Brian Townsend at $300/$600 PLO and $500/$1k PLO and NLHE on Full Tilt. His invincibility is in question as Townsend, up $85,000, just hit a $1m stack and Antonius is up over $2.5m.

The trio are concluding a 12-hour session that has seen some monstrous pots, including an $879,959 behemoth at $500/$1,000 PLO. Both players only put $3,000 in each before the 5h-7h-Qs flop, which saw Antonius check-raise a $5,000 bet to $21k.

Isildur1 called to see an Ad turn in which all the money went in, both players having made top two pair with AQ. However, Antonius had redraws to the flush and a gutshot, which he hit with the 8d river to take down online poker’s largest pot.

Meanwhile, Brian Townsend was battling hard against the Swede on multiple tables of deepstacked $300/$600/$100 PLO, hitting a $1,000,000 stack on one table but being up only $85,000. So far in the past 24 hours, Isildur1 has lost over $3m. How amazing would it be if he won and lost $6m in the same month?
