Isildur1 beats Ziigmund out of $1,000,000

Friday, 20 November 2009

Isildur1's continuous multi-million dollar swings resumed at Full Tilt Poker last night, as Scandinavia went to war with millions of dollars at stake. Swedish phenomenon Isildur1 took on Patrik Antonius and Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies - aka Finland's finest - across six tables of heads-up Hold 'em and Omaha.

Of course, both sets of three games were played at the nosebleed $500/$1,000 stakes with Isildur1's manic-aggressive style coming out on top to the tune of $1.36m.

While Antonius managed to retain most of the $2.8m he won from Isildur1 this past week, losing "only" $330,000; Sahamies was not so fortunate - he lost $1.03m to the Swede, despite winning the day's biggest pot in PLO. He earned $589,000 when his top two pair held up on a K4x flop.

Isildur1 has come into the high stakes games, dropped a million, won six in three weeks - including $3m from Tom "durrrr" Dwan - and now is enduring seven-figure swings on a regular basis. Watch it all at Full Tilt Poker.
