Phil Ivey always does things with a certain sense of style and getting to a concert at Wembley was no exception. Rather than slumming it on the Jubilee Line or braving the north London traffic, Ivey, along with music mogul Chris Gotti instead decided to take a seven-minute helicopter ride to the Coldplay show at Wembley Stadium.
Finding somewhere to land the chopper proved slightly more problematic though so with time running short they ended up touching down in a park in Wembley where a load of children were playing. Gotti, speaking in the New York Post said, “The kids went crazy and rushed over. They thought we were Jay-Z”.
Ivey is no stranger to helicopters. He once took one to visit a dentist rather than go by car. In fact the only surprising thing about the latest flight is Ivey’s choice of music. Coldplay?!? Just goes to show that the great man is human after all.
