Paul Smallwood crashed out of the IWF 2009 after his reraise with 66 on the king high flop meets bullets. Hard luck Paul.
Blinds are 200-400.
276 players remain on 31 tables.
The average stack is 21,000.
Phil Baker is playing up to the cameras nursing a short stack on the TV table while two older ladies sit either side of him and it is clear by their nervous features they did not expect to be on two ten foot screens on view to hundreds of people.
My dark horse for the tournament is Breffni Earley, sitting with a medium stack at the same table as Channing and Power. Breff tells me he is quite envious of Neils massage which has now stretched into the three hour mark.
Earley tells me he has won four tournaments this week so he must be feeling good.
Vincent Mcnamee crashes out of the tournament while we are conversing after trying to bluff Channing who is now back up to 18,000 after a bit of a slip.
