Irish Open satellites up and running

Tuesday, 16 November 2010

It may only be cold, wet and miserable November but attention is already turning to the brighter days of spring with TitanPoker.com offering qualifiers to next April's Irish Open.

Satellites have just started with packages worth €4,600 up for grabs. Each prize includes the €3,200 + €300 buy in to the Main Event, €395 for 5 nights’ accommodation and breakfast at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin from 21st – 26th April 2011 plus €50 for handling fees and €655 for flights and spending.

€200+€20 Super Satellites take place every Sunday evening at 7pm UK time with feeder qualifiers starting from just just €2+20c.

The Irish Open is one of the biggest events on the European poker circuit and attracts a host of big names and some massive prize pools. Previous winners include Neil Channing who pocketed over €800k in 2008, Swedish pro Christer Johansson who pipped Kara Scott to the €600,000 first prize in 2009 and youngster James Mitchell who won this year's title.
