Irish Open charity event raises over €26,000

The Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin is substantially better off thanks to the efforts of poker players at last month’s Irish Open. has announced that participants raised €26,537 for the benefit of sick children.

Spokesman for the hospital Tom Hickey said “We are delighted with the amount of funds raised at the Irish Open and it will go a long way in helping us in our work, the main focus of which is upgrading our A&E department. I would like to thank, the Jackpot Casino and everyone who played in the event.
