Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies needs a new nickname since Full Tilt Poker closed doors and his name is now “Ilari_FIN” but more pertinently, he continued his major winning streak at the PokerStars Omaha tables alongside Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond.

We recently reported that Sahamies had won over $240k playing the highest stakes Omaha games on PokerStars; he continued to do so and wound up netting himself another quarter-million dollars, largely at the expense of mTw-DaviN and f2fish and won over $250,000 in a couple of swingy matches.
A notable confrontation between Sahamies and Rui “PepperoniF” Cao occurred at a 6-max table that Sahamies and f2fish were using to play heads-up. It seems that Cao took umbridge with being told to leave so the game could stay one-on-one:
Ilari FIN: hu pls
PepperoniF: f2fish would you like hu or you dont care?
Ilari FIN: he wanna hu
PepperoniF: let me play my button first
PepperoniF: and not sitout like this
PepperoniF: and if he says hu ill leave
Ilari FIN: yes its obv heads up
PepperoniF: let me play my button first against u ilari
PepperoniF: 1 button eacgh
PepperoniF: you cant play ur button and leave
Ilari FIN: go away
Ilari FIN: i have said
Ilari FIN: 1000 times
Ilari FIN: dont ever come to play
Skjervøy: std grimm from ilari
Ilari FIN: against me
PepperoniF: 3 handed
PepperoniF: hes sit out
PepperoniF: im waiting for him
PepperoniF: little pu ss y
PepperoniF: play me
PepperoniF: and ill destroy u
PepperoniF: wanna try?
HostBaardD [Host]: Keep it civil, guys :)
PepperoniF: i hate this little gobelin
In other action, Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond has been doing well playing from his new Canadian residence. He continued to take on the Omaha games and come up trumps at PokerStars, winning more than $200,000 on Sunday night/Monday morning and continuing with a further $240k in winnings today. He, Sahamies and Cao are August’s biggest cash game winners thus far.
