It is a day that many skeptics thought would never arrive. The tables are set up, the players are here and we have poker on the pitch at Wembley courtesy of the International Stadiums Poker Tour.
Thanks to the sterling efforts of Rob Yong, Simon Trumper and the rest of the team at Dusk Till Dawn the home of football has been transformed into a venue fit for a top class tournament and with €1 million on offer to the winner that's precisely what we can look forward to over the next few days. The first hand in the €2,700+€300 Day 2a was dealt a couple of hours ago with plenty of notable names on hand looking for that massive score. Michael Mizrachi, Toby Lewis, Sam Trickett, Chris Brammer and Barny Boatman are just some of the notables names who are gracing the tables this afternoon. We will of course be on hand with updates over the next few days. And if the sight of the players on the pitch has whetted your appetite, there is one more online satellite and plenty of side events on offer at Wembley over the next few days. Full details cane be found at Dusk Till Dawn's ISPT site. For more on the ISPT, check out our interview with CEO Prosper Masquelier.
