124 players were on hand at Clontarf Castle in Dublin over the weekend for the Irish leg of the €1,000 European Masters of Poker series with home favourite Padraig O'Neill taking the honours.

O'Neill dominated proceedings throughout, taking the chip lead on day one and carrying it through to the business end of proceedings. The Irishman pocketed a first prize of €32,510 after beating Patrik Chahmiran heads up, sealing the deal when his AQ held against the Frenchman's AJ.


The final table positions and payouts were as follows:

2nd Patrik Chahmiran – €19,700
3rd Andrei Kravchuk – €13,200
4th Daragh Davey – €9,300
5th Rasmus Adjers – €8,100
6th Ian Byrne – €6,800
7th Hugo Felix – €5,600
8th Lukas Bubilek – €4,400


The future of the European Masters of Poker series remains uncertain following the closure of the Entraction Network which ran the tour.
