Ho-edown at UB

Monday, 15 November 2010

There has been a glut of additions to the pro teams of online poker sites in recent weeks and UB.com has belatedly joined the party with the signing of Maria Ho.

Ho rose to prominence as the last woman standing at the 2007 WSOP, pocketing $237,865 in the process. The 27-year-old has a total of nine World Series cashes as well as a final table appearance and two further in the money finishes at World Poker Tour events.

The Taiwanese-born player also has a high profile away from the felt, appearing alongside fellow UB pro Tiffany Michelle in the US reality TV show The Amazing Race as well as featuring on American Idol.

"I am honored to be joining the ranks of top UB pros such as Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke. With the new direction and vision I know UB has for their future, this is an extremely exciting time to become a part of such an amazing team."
