High stakes Omaha cash games in Baden, Austria

Monday, 31 October 2011

Theo Jorgensen’s Facebook page has been attracting some attention recently as he divulged details of a high stakes Pot-Limit Omaha game running in Casinos Austria, Baden. The game is €100/€200 PLO (approx. $150/$300) and features some of Europe’s biggest poker names.

The likes of Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, Patrik Antonius and Nicki Jedlicka are no strangers to nosebleed Omaha and are currently in Austria for the 2011 CAPT European Poker Championship. Other big names competing in the game are recent EPT London champion Benny Spindler, who can afford the €40,000 minimum buy-in in this game easily now, as well as Ronny Kaiser and Juha Helppi.

Jorgensen’s Facebook page features some updates and photographs of the game, as well as a story about “an Asian guy” entering the room and Sahamies presuming it was Di “Urindanger” Dang.
