Hellmuth, Chan and Nguyen to captain World Team Poker tournament teams

There's a new team tournament to get players in the mood just before this year's WSOP in Las Vegas. The Golden Nugget Casino will play host to the World Team Poker tournament which will see 40 players from 8 countries battle it our for the title.
The one day event takes place on 19th May 2010 with five players representing their country in the hope of defending national pride. Team captains have been announced with Ben Roberts heading the England team. Joining him will be Phil Hellmuth, Jr. (Team USA), Co-Captains Johnny Chan and David Chiu (Team China), Men “The Master” Nguyen (Team Vietnam), Eli Elezra (Team Israel), Co-Captains Jeff Lisandro and Tony Guoga (Australia), Juliano Maesano (Team Brazil) and George Kapalas (Team Greece).
The $50,000 buy in event will feature five table shootouts in Limit Hold’Em, Pot Limit Hold’Em and No Limit Hold’Em and will be streamed live at
www.worldteampoker.com.
