Heads-Up Zoom Coming Soon

Thursday, 14 November 2013

A recent forum post by 'PokerStars Steve' has outlined a list of forthcoming changes players can expect to see at the site's virtual tables over the coming month.

Coming off the back of PokerStars' semi-regular player meetings, the overview listed a number of improvements ranging from the selection of eBooks in the VIP store to the implementation of the site's anti-ratholing software.

Although this product has taken longer than many people expected, Steve was confident that the ratholing script would be ready to go live in certain low stakes games later this month. Although the product has undergone numerous tests, it's still not certain how effective it will be once it's put into practice. However, the development team seem confident in its power and hope it will bring an end to short stackers taking money off the table in a hit-and-run style.

Of all the technical alterations described in the post, the one that most grinders will be looking forward to is the introduction of heads-up Zoom. Continuing PokerStars' commitment to improving its overall HU package, the new games are expected to go live next month.

This is will be the first time the site has used its fast-fold technology in a one-on-one setting, something which will certainly pique the interests of regular players.

In addition to the introduction of HU Zoom tables, PokerStars is also planning to improve its overall heads-up offering with various other features in 2014.

New players at the site can enjoy a 100% first deposit bonus on their three deposits up to $400 as well as entry into freerolls where $50,000 in prize money will be awarded. Sign up at PokerStars.
