Twelve online qualifiers also have the chance to pit their skills against the 44 other professionals, and with an extra £164,000 added to the prize pool by William Hill, it’s destined to become as tasty for the pros as the lucky amateurs. In a tough structure, just the winner from each heat progressed through to the final. The second place players from each heat go forward to a semi-final, giving them another chance of making that final table. The action is set to hit the TV screens on Sky Sports from Tuesday January 30.
