Hall, Duhamel, Negreanu and Blom at stacked PCA Super High Roller final table

Saturday, 7 January 2012

Given the quality of the 30 players who started the $100,000 PCA High Roller it was almost inevitable that the final table would be stacked and so it has proved.

Galen Hall leads the way followed by 2010 WSOP Main Event winner Jonathan Duhamel, multiple bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu, online legend Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom, 2010 Aussie Millions High Roller champ Dan Shak, WPT Championship winner Scott Seiver, EPT Dortmund winner Mike McDonald and last year's PCA High Roller finalist Humberto Brenes.

All told, the final eight have combined career earnings in excess of over $100m and one of them will be boosting their bankroll by a further $1,254,400. Three of the eight will leave empty handed though with a hefty bubble of $250,900.

The chip counts are as follows:

Galen Hall 1,748,0000
Jonathan Duhamel 1,336,000
Daniel Negreanu 1,230,000
Viktor Blom 1,228,000
Dan Shak 1,199,000
Scott Seiver 556,000
Mike McDonald 360,000
Humberto Brenes 343,000

The action resumes at 5pm today UK time and will be streamed live at PokerStars.tv.
