The tournament, which is the largest held in the Southern Hemisphere, will take place in January 2008 at the Crown Casino in Melbourne. The Main Event has a guaranteed first place prize of AUS $1m, and was won last year by Jimmy Fricke, beating Gus Hansen heads-up for the title.
