Get Ready For WCOOP 2015

Friday, 4 September 2015

The next edition of the annual World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) from PokerStars is almost uphttps://www.pokerstars.uk/on us and ahead of the festival the site is running a plethora of last-minute deals.

In typically confident fashion, PokerStars is hoping to break a number of records with its latest festival and to help tempt players to ante-up between September 6 and September 27 it is offering an overall guarantee of $45 million.

Although this figure is likely to be exceeded as the online festival kicks into life, the fact that it's now possible to satellite in for as little as $0.11 and win a share of at least $45 million is something that's likely to bring out the masses.

As ever the WCOOP main event is the highlight of the 70-event schedule. Costing $5,200 to enter direct and boasting a $10 million guarantee, the event is traditionally one of the biggest online tournaments of the year and this time around the organisers are predicting upwards of 2,000 runners.

Back in 2014, the final table welcomed some of the biggest names in the game including Faraz Jaka and Viktor Blom but when the chips had fallen it was Austria's Fedor 'CrownUpGuy' Holz that walked away with the title and $1.3 million in cash.

To help the WCOOP 2015 break attendance numbers, PokerStars is giving people the chance to get in on the action via a series of satellites running now and continuing until just a few hours before the start of the main event.
