Georges Tohme wins London Calling main event

The Fox Poker Club on Shaftesbury Avenue was the venue for the London Calling Poker Festival which culminated over the bank holiday weekend. Top of the bill was the £500 Main Event which was won by Londoner Georges Tohme.

The 28-year-old outlasted a field of 93 runners to pocket a first prize of £15,040, beating a final table that included Hendon Mobster Barny Boatman, Richard Paul and Chuck Clark.


Tohme is no stranger to tournament success in the capital having previously won the London leg of the Paradise Poker Tour in 2009.


The next major tournament action at the Fox Poker Club is the £300+£25 September Main Event which takes place on Saturday 10th September.
