Like the previous legs of the Genting Poker Series, the Grand Final has proved to be a huge hit with a bumper field smashing the £200,000 guarantee.

After two days of action at the Fox Poker Club just 66 players are still chasing a share of the prize pool that stands at an impressive £264,000 with Day 1A leader Yucel 'Mad Turk' Eminoglu retaining the overall chip lead heading into day 2.

Big movers on the second opening flight included Wesley Wiemes 151,300, Genting Pro Daniel Hardy 123,700 and the dark majesty that is Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott who returns with 111,000.

Other notable Day 1B survivors included recent WPT South Africa runner up Jerome Bradpiece, English Open winner Mickey Petersen 57,800 and Bluff Europe regulars Paul Jackson 50,100, Ben Jackson 45,200 and Alex 'Pickleman' Rousso 21,700.

The average stack stands at 80,000 with blinds at 800/1,600 when play resumes this lunchtime. 18 players will make the money with the min-cash standing at £3,300. The final nine will pocket at least £5,900 with the winner trousering £75,200.
