Poker players will able able to show their charitable side next week as the Genting Big Game returns to the Fox Poker Club.

Tournament organiser Genting Poker has announced that half of all registration fees from next month's £1,000 buy-in tournament will be donated to the Great Ormond Street Hospital's charity to help their childcare work.

There will be a Christmas theme for December's event with gifts for attendees and a bounty prize placed on the head of Genting Poker chief Gary Oakes. The player who eliminates Gary from the competition will win a £1000 package to play in a leg of the Genting Poker Series in 2013 as well as a Luxury Christmas Hamper.

“At this special time of year it is important we stop and show our support for the great work charities do here in the capital and across the country," said Simon Tomsett, Genting's London Poker Manager, "I know that the UKs poker players will want to join with us in celebrating the great work that Great Ormond Street does every day. We invite players to bring gifts which will be donated to the hospital”

Luke '_FullFlush_' Schwartz scooped £13,000 after winning the first Big Game at the Fox Poker Club earlier this month.
