XBox360, PlayStation 2, PSP and PC poker players don't have too much longer to wait for Howard Lederer's latest version of 'World Championship Poker 2 : All In'. According to producers Oxygen Games, this latest edition of the World Championship game will be available on the shelves by the end of March this year.
The latest edition once again features famous poker pro Lederer and a cast of characters. Players can customise their own one-of-a-kind avatar who will muck, check and raise in a dynamically changing environment as he or she moves up through the competitive levels.
With the 2007 version, players must work their way up the poker ladder, starting out in a basement home game. As bankrolls grow, the playing environment improves to include casino and poker room surroundings. Other poker-related options include 14 different poker varieties with different levels of simulation depending on the player's skill level.
According to material from Oxygen, players can also expect to see multi-table online tournaments, smarter AI and support for Xbox's Live Vision Camera. The game will be available for Xbox Live, featuring a world scoreboard and voice-chat functions.
