Day 1B of the GUKPT Main Event has drawn to a close with 66 players returning for Day 2.
Leading the way is Sid Yuen who finished the day with 151,500 chips. Yuen is followed by Anthony Kennedy with 122,00, Sandiep Ajab Singh Khosa on 121,700 and Niels Ladefoged on 117,400. Rounding out the six figure stack club is Gregory Haik who closed with 102,000.It wasn't such a great day for the big names yesterday with the likes of Sam Trickett, Stuart Rutter, Toby Lewis, John Eames, Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott, Willie Tann and Tony Cascarino all hitting the rail.Praz Bansi and Jamie Burland did make it through to Day 2 though where they will be competing for a share of a prize pool worth 367,500. All told 25 players will make the money with the min cash set at £3,310. The top eight finishers will all walk away with a five-figure sum with the winner set to pocket £101,020.The action resumes at 2pm today where the the field will be whittled down to a final table.
