The WSOP in Vegas is of course the main attraction in the world of poker at the moment but there is plenty of top class tournament action on offer closer to home.
The latest leg of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) starts in Walsall this lunchtime and there's a juicy guaranteed prize pool of £100,000 to be won.The first of two opening flights in the £500+£50 Main Event is off at 1pm with a second following at the same time tomorrow. One re-entry is allowed with players starting with stacks of 20,000.There's a busy side event schedule penciled in too including a £20 rebuy Main Event satellite at 4pm today.
