Brighton's G Casino is the venue for the penultimate leg of the GUKPT regular season with the £1,000+£70 Main Event starting today.
The opening day has been split into two opening flights with a midday start for the early birds and a 6.30pm starts for those preferring evening action. Registration closes 15 minutes before the start of each flight, however late entries/alternates are accepted during the first two levels of play for both flights. The day 2 action will recommence at 2pm on Saturday.There are three side events pencilled in for the weekend too starting at 2.30pm on Saturday with a £60 re-buy super satellite into next month's £2,500 grand final at The Vic. There's a two-day £250+£25 NL Hold'em freezeout starting at 7.30pm on Saturday with the usual £100+£10 NL Hold'em bounty bringing things to a conclusion at 5pm on Sunday.Bernard Litman won last year's GUKPT Brighton Main Event, outlasting a field of 235 runners to take home a £70,520 first prize.
