Rich Cronin, president and CEO of the GSN TV network, has announced that the High Stakes Poker (HSP) show will enjoy its fourth season on the small screen when it is taped for broadcast in Las Vegas this May.
'We are very pleased with the success of High Stakes Poker and the tremendous buzz it has generated,' said Cronin. 'It is far and away the most talked about poker show. We plan on making HSP 4 the richest season yet with players bringing up to a million dollars of their own money to play in the biggest cash game on TV.'
The show, which will air in the Autumn, will be returning to the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas to shoot the action.
During the nail-biting third season, Brad Booth brought a million dollars and at times there was over four million dollars on the table.
That season featured a star-studded line-up that began with the 2006 World Series of Poker champion Jamie Gold and is concluding with Phil Ivey, perhaps the best high-stakes cash game poker player appearing on the show. The final episode of the third season is on 9 April at 21:00 ET.
