The Genting Poker Series returns today with the Genting Club in Stoke the venue for the latest £100,000 guaranteed event.
The first of two opening day flights in the three day, £400+£40 Main Event gets under way at 1pm today with a second following at the same time tomorrow. Players will start with stacks of 25,000 with a one hour clock. There's a busy side event lined up too including a £100 NLHE Button Poker event at 7pm tonight, a two day, £150 NLHE tournament at 5pm on Saturday with a £50+£25+£10 Bounty event rounding off the proceedings at 3pm on Sunday. This year's starters will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Yucel Eminoglu who took the honours in the 2012 event. The 'Mad Turk' pocketed £46,550 after outrunning a 482 runner field.
The sixth annual edition of Grosvenor Casinos’ Goliath tournament series may have begun last week but players are being advised that there is still time to qualify for seats into its prestigious £120 buy-in main event.
