The Genting Poker Series' latest leg will get underway next week in Stoke and once again the organisers will be putting up a prize pool of at least £125,000.

Kicking off online before migrating to Stoke's Genting Club, the event is expected to be another step forwards for the ever expanding UK series.

Last time out the Main Event attracted 415 entrants and when the betting was over it was Tony Hallam that walked away with the title.

After agreeing a deal with Jon Alley heads-up the British grinder managed to lift the winner's trophy and £34,360 after his As 7d caught a slice of luck against his opponent's Ac Kd.

This year the festival will get underway on May 21st and running alongside the £400+£40 Main Event will be a selection of side events, including a £5,000 guarantee NLHE tournament costing £75 to enter.
