Fear not, Full Tilt Poker isn’t packing its bags and heading for the hills. However, a New Jersey product information management company called Full Tilt Solutions Inc, has announced that it is putting its domain name up for sale due to online poker traffic.
The company said that its FullTilt.com domain receives over 60,000 unique visitors per month looking for the online poker site at FullTiltPoker.com so it has hired MHKogan Corp to sell the name.
As the popularity of the Full Tilt name grows through the promotion of the online poker site, more and more people have been erroneously typing FullTilt.com to play online poker.
'At first we thought that the extra traffic was fun but now the traffic has grown to a point of distraction and is utilising resources that should be reserved for our customers and prospects,' said Timothy Wallace, Chief Executive Officer for Full Tilt Solutions.
The name is to be sold at auction this month and all interested parties must pre-register and be pre-qualified by MHKogan by today.
'We expect the purchase price to be in the seven figure range due to the free traffic that is increasing at a rate of 38 percent,' said Michael Kogan, President of MHKogan.
Kogan was one of the founders of Platinum Poker and served as the Vice-President of Marketing for the Doyle Brunson Poker Network until October of last year.
