Full Tilt's Ray Bitar breaks silence

Wednesday, 7 March 2012

Full Tilt Poker's Ray Bitar has finally broken his post Black Friday silence. In a short interview with PokerStrategy.com, Bitar offered an apology 'to all who have been affected by these events' as well as giving the reasons for his silence since the closure of Full Tilt last June.

The Tiltware chief said that the 'ongoing legal process' had precluded him from 'providing any relevant information surrounding the on-going investigation' adding that he has 'been working every single day since Black Friday to ensure players are repaid, which has been my top priority, as well as working on the future plans of FTP.'

Bitar also confirmed that he has been 'cooperating fully with the DOJ' adding that his 'entire focus' has been 'on obtaining a successful resolution for the players' and that he hopes to 'provide some good news for all of the players involved' before too long.

We look forward to hearing what Daniel Negreanu has to say about that.
