Full Tilt relaunch update

Saturday, 3 November 2012

The much anticipated Full Tilt Poker relaunch is fast approaching with 6 November not coming fast enough for many an online grinder. PokerStars has released a statement giving an update on the run up to the big day.

Writing on the PokerStars blog, Eric Hollreiser confirmed that the play-money offering that re-opened on Wednesday has been used primarily as a beta test for the software. Feedback has been 'good' so hopefully any bugs will have been ironed out before Tuesday. Players in the recently regulated markets of Estonia, Belgium, Denmark and Spain will also now have access to their Full Tilt balances via a 'paired' PokerStars account.

Functionality has now opened in France but players in Italy will have to wait a little longer. Legal advisers for PokerStars are in discussion with Italian authorities but no precise timescale has been announced.

“For the millions of players who will have access to their funds, this marks the end of a long and emotional roller-coaster ride,” said Hollreiser, “We hope this begins a new journey that allows players to enjoy two great poker sites - Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars - with the confidence in the shared ownership of The Rational Group, who will ensure the safety and security of your funds and the integrity of your poker action.”
