Full Tilt hearing set for 26 July

Wednesday, 13 July 2011

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has confirmed that the hearing into the suspension of Full Tilt Poker's licence will take place at 10am on Tuesday 26 July at London's Park Plaza Victoria Hotel.

Executive Director of AGCC, André Wilsenach, said: “AGCC’s choice to hold a public hearing in to the future of Full Tilt Poker demonstrates our willingness to act transparently and we will welcome members of the public and the media. As ever at all times, our primary concern is the protection of the player.”

The AGCC suspended Full Tilt's licence in late June following indictments from the US Department of Justice and the site's “subsequent failure to satisfy AGCC that its activities inside and outside the US were in order.”
