Full Tilt hearing delayed until 15 September at the latest

Wednesday, 27 July 2011

Full Tilt Poker players hoping for news on whether the site will have its licence restored or revoked were left disappointed yesterday after the Alderney Gambling Control Commission hearing was adjourned until 15 September at the latest.

After a day of comings and goings the AGCC finally agreed to an adjournment saying that it was in the interests of justice and the best interest of Full Tilt customers as it will give the site more time to finalise new investment.

Full Tilt's lawyers had earlier asked for yesterday's hearing to be held behind closed doors. Whether the future hearing will be heard in camera remains to be seen.

The bottom line is that players at Full Tilt Poker are still no closer to finding out whether they'll be getting their money back.
