Full Tilt Poker names UKIPT ambassadors

Thursday, 25 July 2013

With the Galway Festival set to begin this weekend, Full Tilt Poker has unveiled four players that are to serve as ambassadors for the online poker room at every one of the upcoming stops of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT).

Martins Adeniya, Dermot Blain, Ben Jenkins and Sinem Melin are the third set of special representatives to be unveiled by the Isle of Man-licensed domain after it previously selected ambassadors for the Brazil Series Of Poker (BSOP) and the Eureka Poker Tour while its Team Full Tilt roster consists of Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, Gus Hansen and Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan.

Full Tilt Poker stated that the four latest additions will help it to enhance its live poker offerings and forge stronger links with qualifiers and the local community beginning with the Galway Festival, which is set to run from Saturday until August 12. The quartet are to compete in the Irish tournament’s €1,100 buy-in no-limit hold‘em main event from August 8 while additionally getting involved in a number of promotions and experiences open only to qualifiers.

“These tour ambassadors will help redefine what it means to represent a poker site,” said Dustin Iannotti, Pro, Celebrity and VIP Marketing Senior Manager for Full Tilt Poker.

“These players are working with us to create exciting new live experiences that will leave UKIPT players with memories that extend well beyond the felt.”
