Full Tilt Poker adds draw poker to line-up.

Friday, 5 November 2010

The regular nosebleed players at Full Tilt Poker have some more ways to gamble it up on the virtual felt after the site added draw poker games in its latest software update. The site now spreads 5-card draw; 2-7 Triple Draw; 2-7 Single Draw, Badugi and A-5 Triple Draw.

The games are available in both No Limit and Fixed Limit betting formats and this could also see Full Tilt upgrade their 7-game mix to 8-game or even more – after all they now spread enough games to do an 11-game mix (NLHE, PLO, PLO8, LHE, LO8, Stud, Stud 8, Razz, 2-7 TD, 5-card Draw, Badugi).

Draw poker is old school indeed – it’s what Wild Bill Hickock was playing when he took it in the back with aces and eights – but is still popular among the pros, who play it routinely in Bobby’s Room. At the 2009 WSOP the games were played as high as $10,000/$20,000 blinds... and that’s with No Limit!
