At Full Tilt Poker, there’s one thing that marks the pros out from the rest, but as any poker player knows, that needn’t necessarily be the amount or the frequency with which they win. Rather it’s a customised avatar to represent them at the virtual online table.
One lucky player that will soon be setting tongues wagging is newfound internet poker pro Gary 'GB2005' Bogdanski. In proving himself to be the best all-around player at the FullTilt Online Poker Series II (FTOPS), he won a customised FullTilt avatar, exactly like the Team FullTilt pros have.
As well as the satisfaction of having his face transformed into a lifelike cartoon, Bogdanski will of course gain a lot of clout and respect from fellow players.
Bogdanski won with 300 tournament leader board points, 25 points then the runner-up. 'I was very happy to play so well in many [FTOPS] events,' Bodganski said, 'but with the success I've had in other online tournaments, it was a frustrating series. Nevertheless, it is a great honour to win the overall leaderboard for the FTOPS, and I'm excited to have myself made into a cartoon.'
